Singapore Airlines and Shangri- La top YouGov 2024 Women’s Rankings in the travel category

The rankings reveal the most positively perceived brands among female customers in Singapore

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, YouGov BrandIndex – a syndicated brand tracker which continuously collects data on thousands of brands every day - looked at travel brands’ former and current customers, and analysed the most positively perceived brands among female customers between the period of 1st March 2023 and 29th February 2024.

Among major airline brands tracked by YouGov BrandIndex in Singapore, Singapore Airlines was viewed most positively by female customers over the past 12 months. It achieved the highest score of 69.8 – calculated as an average of its Impression, Quality, Value, Customer Satisfaction, Recommendation and Consideration scores.

Emirates is the next most favourably viewed brand among females (58.7), followed by Etihad Airways (54.5), JAL (53.9) and Qatar Airways (51.5).

ANA (51.4) and EVA Air (44.1) also appear in the list, along with Thai Airways (38.2), Cathay Pacific (35.1) and Scoot (34.5).

Amongst leading hotels in Singapore, Shangri-La enjoys the strongest position among female customers (54.2).

French Company Club Med ranked second (52.4), followed by Marriott (51.4), Ritz-Carlton (50.8) and Four Seasons (47.5).

St. Regis Hotel took the sixth position (47.1), followed by Grand Hyatt (47.0). Lastly, Fullerton (46.2), InterContinental (43.5) and Mandarin Oriental (43.2) complete the top ten ranking of hotel brands among women in Singapore.

Methodology: YouGov BrandIndex collects data on thousands of brands every day. YouGov examined leading 50 brands within the travel sector between March 1, 2023, and February 29, 2024. The brands were filtered by female former and current customers and then ranked using an overall score calculated as an average of Impression, Quality, Value, Customer Satisfaction, Recommendation and Consideration scores.
